Cancellation policy

Cancelling should be fair both for the customer and for the driver who is on the way. TaxiAhora never charges cancellation fees.

Customer

• Free and with no consequences: before a taxi accepts the request and up to 2 minutes after.
• Late cancellation: more than 2 minutes after acceptance, or when the taxi is already at the pickup point. The website warns you before you confirm.
• After 3 late cancellations in 30 days you cannot book a taxi for 24 hours.
• If you are not at the pickup point and do not turn up, the driver can cancel the journey; this is recorded.

Driver

• Can cancel an accepted journey giving the reason (for example the customer does not turn up, a breakdown). This is recorded.
• Repeated cancellations without good reason can lead to the account being paused or suspended.
• If the driver cancels, the customer can book another taxi straight away.

Scheduled journeys

They can be cancelled free of charge up to 15 minutes before the pickup time.
